Banner Neuro Wellness es un programa diseñado para complementar los tratamientos y terapias médicas actuales para personas con enfermedad de Parkinson, enfermedad de Alzheimer y demencias relacionadas, así como otras afecciones neurológicas. Incluso ofrecemos clases abiertas a los cuidadores de personas con diagnóstico.

Los pacientes y sus familias que eligen participar en los programas de Banner Neuro Wellness disfrutarán de un mayor sentido de comunidad, conexión, apoyo y mayor socialización, lo cual, según se ha demostrado mediante investigaciones, mejora la función y la calidad de vida. Las clases y programas de Banner Neuro Wellness utilizan prácticas basadas en la investigación para ayudar a las personas a gestionar eficazmente los síntomas en un entorno que fomenta el sentido de comunidad.

About Us

Banner Neuro Wellness is a research based multidimensional program. We understand that improving and maintaining your quality of life is important to you. Our knowledgeable team will help you navigate through the daily challenges that impact you most. The variety of classes and programs we provide are designed to complement the medical care you received at the Toole Family Memory Center and J. Orin Edson Family Lewy Body Dementia Center at Banner Alzheimer’s Institute. The Banner Neuro Wellness team strives to improve function, mobility, help manage your symptoms and enhance your overall wellness.

• Dementia
• Ataxia
• Tremor
• Dystonia
• Clonus

Additionally, we provide support for care partners, family members, and friends of those managing their chronic diagnoses.

Patients and Visitors

Our groups are open to the people living with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s related diseases, their caregivers, and our larger community. We encourage you to join in. If you are interested in participating in our exercise and wellness programs, we require that you become a Banner Neuro Wellness member. First make an appointment for a one-on-one evaluation. During the evaluation we will assess your current function, make recommendations for classes and answer questions. Following the evaluation, you can sign up for classes and get started.

Our evaluation fee is $40 for an individual and $65 if a caregiver is being evaluated with you. The monthly membership fees start at $50 per month, no insurance is accepted at this time. View our membership packet.
