OB Breastfeeding Class- Banner University Medical Center Tucson- In Person

**Due to a significant increase in flu cases in our community, masks are now required in all Banner Health patient facilities. Masks will be provided by the hospital.

This class is designed for those planning to breastfeed their baby, with partners strongly encouraged to join. You'll gain valuable insights into the benefits of breastfeeding, the process of milk production, and optimal feeding schedules. The class will also cover essential topics such as proper latch techniques, comfortable breastfeeding positions, signs of successful breastfeeding, and practical advice on pumping and storing milk. We suggest attending during your third trimester to fully prepare for your breastfeeding journey. Please scroll down to see all available class dates.

We invite individuals preparing for a new baby to register for the class, and you’re welcome to bring one support person with you. Please note that we kindly ask that children do not attend.

Parking:
From Campbell Avenue, turn west onto Elm St. Continue past Diamond Children's Hospital and Parking Garage B. The main entrance will be on your left next just beyond the emergency room entrance. Free surface parking is available by the main entrance, or you can use our complimentary valet parking. If you park in the parking garage, please bring your ticket so the front desk may validate it for free parking.

Classroom:
OB Classroom, Room 504- your instructor will be at the doors to let you in. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
