Banner Health’s PGY1 community pharmacy residency provides comprehensive clinical training in a variety of advanced practice settings. The resident will be based out of Banner Family Pharmacy – Specialty Care (Banner Support Services building) in Chandler, Arizona where the resident will communicate with health care members and patients telephonically. The oncology learning experience will be based out of the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) Banner Family Pharmacy where residents will provide in person counseling on specialty drug therapies and round with providers. The transplant learning experience will be based out of the Banner University Medical institutes (BUMI). Banner Family Pharmacy in downtown Phoenix, where residents will also provide in person counseling and work alongside providers, nurses, and medical assistants to rove first class patient care. The staffing learning experience is based out of the Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) Banner Family Pharmacy, located in downtown Phoenix inside the main hospital building, where residents will work alongside pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in a high bolomen outpatient community environment.
