Banner - University Medicine’s Maternal Fetal Clinic* provides comprehensive services for high-risk pregnancies, including pregnancies with congenital anomalies. Focused on optimal outcomes for mothers and their babies, we utilize a multidisciplinary, coordinated approach partnering with pediatric specialists and the Banner Fetal Care Center.

About Us

Our Banner - University Medicine’s Maternal Fetal Clinic, a department of Banner Desert Medical Center* includes the following services:

• Acceptance and co-management of direct referrals from providers for high-risk pregnancies
• Consultations and ultrasounds
• Deliveries by our high-risk obstetricians who are in-house 24/7
• Delivery services at our level IV medical centers for tertiary care for premature deliveries, maternal ICU and specialized neonatal care
• Co-management of fetal congenital abnormalities with the Banner Fetal Care Center providing:
  • Ultra-fast fetal MRI
  • High resolution fetal ultrasound
  • Fetal echocardiography
  • Genetic testing
• Perinatal Substance Use Disorder Program for women struggling with substance and alcohol use
• Family Centered Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Care (FC-NAS)
• Medication for substance use disorders
• Perinatal mental health services
• Placenta accreta (at Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix)
• Management of maternal medical problems including diabetes, hypertension and cardiac issues
• Antepartum surveillance
