About Us

Banner Estrella Medical Center was built in 2005 in west Phoenix to meet the health care needs of a growing West Valley community. A full-service medical campus, the 317 all-private bed hospital offers an array of medical services, including heart care, emergency services, general surgery, weight loss surgery, medical imaging, orthopedic surgery and a comprehensive maternity services program.

We have received Magnet® recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for excellence in nursing. This designation is a testament to the innovative, safe and thoughtful care our professional nurses provide patients every day.

Banner Estrella also offers and encourages the use of complementary therapies, such as pet therapy, aromatherapy, spiritual care, Reiki Therapy and classes on relaxation techniques. Our hospital is designed to provide a soothing, healing atmosphere for both patients and their family members.

Visitor Parking

Visitors can park on the northwest corner of the facility to access the main lobby, Emergency department and Women and Infants Services or use the parking garage along 93rd Avenue. Visitor Restrictions

As part of our commitment to ensuring Banner Health is a safe place to work and receive care, weapon detection systems are currently utilized at Banner Estrella Medical Center. We ask that you pay your portion of the bill at the time of your visit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and personal checks. Any remaining balance is due within 30 days.
