If you’re a hospital or provider’s office your request can be sent to our vendor partner MRO (408) 608-2607. To check the status of your request during the hours of operation Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST, you can contact MRO at (888)-668-8360.
If you have an urgent continuation of care request after hours of operation, your request can still be sent to the above fax number to be processed.
Third Party Requesters
If you are a 3rd party such as a payer, including Risk Adjustment or HEDIS requests, attorney, or insurance company, your request can be sent to our vendor partner, MRO (408) 608-2607. To check the status of your request you can contact MRO National Service Center at (610) 994-7500.
*Note: If someone other than the patient signs the HIPAA authorization form, the requester must include proof that they are legally allowed to sign for and make health care choices for the patient. An attorney for the patient is not a personal representative under HIPAA unless specifically appointed to make health care decisions for the patient.
MRO Requester Portal
To facilitate the release of information (ROI) request process for high volume requesters, MRO offers a requester portal website. The web portal is a free upgrade to the ROI Online service that will improve turnaround time, reduce the need for status calls and make the entire ROI request process run more smoothly and efficiently while operating in a secure environment. Please note that a fee may be assessed for the cost of labor, supplies and/or postage in producing your record; you will be notified if any fees will be incurred. To reduce copy charges, you may request only recent information or a specific document.
