Crisis Standards of Care (Arizona)

In extreme situations, such as a surge in COVID-19 cases or other public health emergencies, the Arizona Department of Health Services may implement the state’s Crisis Standards of Care Plan. This plan provides hospitals with guidance on how to allocate resources fairly during times of extraordinary demand.

Even under these circumstances, all patients will be treated with respect, care and compassion.
