A: Warning signs of a mental health crisis may include:

  • Talking or thinking about death

Q: What's the difference between inpatient and outpatient mental health care?
A:
At Banner Health, we tailor care to your specific needs. During an initial intake assessment, we’ll help you and your care team decide which level of care is best. 

  • Outpatient services may be recommended if you or your loved one can safely continue with daily activities while receiving regular therapy or support. 
  • Inpatient care is often needed if symptoms are severe, safety is a concern or round-the-clock support is required.
