Banner – University Medical Center Tucson also earned a High Performing ranking in cancer; urology; and geriatrics. The hospital received a High Performing rating in multiple procedures and conditions including colon cancer surgery; diabetes; heart attack; heart arrhythmia; hip fracture; kidney failure; leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma; pneumonia; and prostate cancer surgery.
Dining
Visitors and family are welcome to eat in the cafeteria. It offers breakfast, grilled foods, salads, made-to-order pizza and more. Vending machines are open 24 hours a day in the cafeteria.
Parking
Parking garages south of the main entrance and north of the Diamond Children’s lobby provide convenient, covered parking at no charge (with validated ticket) to patients and visitors.

Weapons Detection System
As part of our commitment to ensuring Banner Health is a safe place to work and receive care, weapon detection systems are currently utilized at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. All patients and visitors will be screened upon entry into our campus buildings. Learn more about the weapon detection systems.
We ask that you pay your portion of the bill at the time of your visit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and personal checks. Any remaining balance is due within 30 days.
