The BIG Pink Bus is made possible by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center and its generous community sponsors.
The Breast Believe campaign, launched on November 1, 2022, by The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation (TLFF), aims to educate communities about early detection, prevention, symptoms, treatments, resources and access related to breast cancer.
Larry Fitzgerald, inspired by his mother, Carol Fitzgerald—who passed away from breast cancer in 2003— has dedicated himself and his foundation to providing funding, resources and services for women, men, and families affected by breast cancer.
The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation recognizes that the impact of breast cancer extends beyond October. That is why they’ve created an ongoing campaign to support awareness and address the needs of those impacted every day. The Breast Believe campaign is built on the belief that access to organizations offering support, financial assistance and breast health advocacy is crucial.
Partnering with Banner MD Anderson’s BIG Pink Bus aligns with TLFF’s mission. Together, we prioritize access to breast health services for historically underserved communities. Throughout the year, Breast Believe and The BIG Pink Bus will offer free mammograms to communities in need. Additionally, the Banner MD Anderson team will assist with coordinating follow-up care or next steps as needed.
