Pharmacy FAQ

At Banner Family Pharmacy, our pharmacists do more than fill prescriptions. We’re here as your health care partner and a trusted resource for your medication needs. Below are answers to common questions about prescriptions, insurance, travel and more.

Can I travel with my medication?

Yes. When traveling, keep your medications in a cool, dry place. If you are flying, pack them in your carry-on bag for easy access. This helps prevent lost luggage from interrupting your treatment. Learn more about traveling with medication.

Can I pick up medication for my spouse or family member?

Yes. Prescriptions may be picked up by the patient’s legal guardian, caregiver or another approved representative. If you need extra help with prescription pick-up or delivery, contact your nearest Banner Family Pharmacy for options.

How long do prescription refills take?

Refill timing depends on the type of medication. You can check the status of your prescription:

Do you accept my insurance?

Banner Family Pharmacy accepts most insurance plans, making it easier to stay focused on your health. For payments, we accept:

  • Credit cards
  • HSA or FSA cards
  • Checks

How do I transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy?

Transferring your prescriptions to Banner Family Pharmacy is simple. Just provide us with:

  • The name of your current pharmacy
  • Your prescription number
  • The name of your medication

We’ll take care of the rest and let you know when your prescription is ready.
