Pulmonary rehabilitation benefits and what to expect
Your pulmonary rehabilitation program is tailored to your unique needs. Through exercises, activities and education, you can retrain your breathing, increase your activity level and improve your quality of life.
Sessions may include:
- Identifying triggers that make you short of breath or lower your oxygen levels
- Learning techniques to reduce and manage shortness of breath

If you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or another chronic lung condition, your rehabilitation program may also include:

Insurance coverage for pulmonary rehabilitation
Pulmonary rehabilitation requires a physician referral and recent breathing test results from your doctor (within the past year). Most insurance plans cover all or part of your program. Our financial consultants can help you determine your coverage and any copays.
