Pediatric Audiology (Hearing Services)

Back To Specialty Care

Healthy hearing plays a key role in a child’s ability to learn, communicate and connect with the world. The pediatric audiologists at Banner Children’s specialize in evaluating and treating hearing concerns in infants, children and teens.

We provide advanced testing and compassionate care for children with all types of hearing challenges - from mild hearing loss to complex auditory disorders - in a supportive, kid-friendly environment.

What is pediatric audiology

Pediatric audiology is the field of medicine focused on diagnosing and managing hearing and ear-related problems in children.

Because hearing loss can affect speech, balance and development, early testing and intervention are essential. Identifying hearing problems as soon as possible helps ensure your child reaches important communication and learning milestones.

Our audiologists use gentle, age-appropriate testing methods to make each child’s experience safe and comfortable.
