Keeping kids safe doesn’t stop at the hospital door. Unintentional injuries remain the leading cause of death for children ages 1–14, and millions more are treated in emergency departments each year for preventable injuries. For every child who dies from an injury, roughly 30 are hospitalized and nearly 1,000 visit the emergency room.
The Banner Children’s Injury Prevention Program helps families reduce risks through education and practical safety tips - from car seats and water safety to sports, bike and home safety.
